The 2nd Edition of Salvador Caetano’s Summer Internship Program – Moving Up! Summer Internship has ended. For two months, 32 young people from Higher Education were in 9 companies of the Group in an experience that allowed them to experience the reality of the business and begin to map out their professional career.
More than a simple intership, this was a journey of personal and professional growth two months for young people involved in the day-to-day running of our brands and businesses, where each challenge overcome became a learning experience for the future.
For Ricardo Borges, who interned at Hyundai Portugal, “One word that defines my intership is emotion. Both for the brand and for the Group, which has always valued our well-being, cared deeply about us and provided excellent support. I leave here a much better person and I really enjoyed this experience.”.

About the program
O Moving Up! Summer Internship integrates a set of initiatives of the Young Talent Program which includes, in addition to the summer interships, curricular internships throughout the year, protocols with higher, secondary and professional education institutions and professional interships.
A Choice Car, this year, welcomed 6 young people nose Operations teams, Remedies, Marketing, Fleet Management e Customer Service. Sara Coelho, General Manager at Choice Car, believes that “This is an excellent initiative, firstly for the students, as it allows them to have contact with the business reality and apply some of the more theoretical concepts; but also for the company, as it welcomes young people with “unformatted” minds, forcing us to develop rapid integration strategies and launch additional challenges for the 2 months of the intership. And, of course, when we have a suitable opportunity, we invite the intern to join our team, as happened in the 1st edition.”.
As part of these initiatives, in 2023, to Salvador Caetano hosted around 300 interships e more than 100 were integrated into employment contracts.
