Within the scope of the Catholic University's Strategic Plan Porto Business School, the initiative to launch a new block of executive training courses, called "Sustainable and Regenerative Businesses", has emerged. The Postgraduate Course in Sustainability and Regeneration and the Chief Sustainability Officer Executive Course focus on circular business solutions that do not violate social and environmental limits, driven by technology and disruptive innovation.
At a time of undisputed social and environmental change, it is important to gain a broad understanding of how to incorporate sustainability and regeneration into corporate strategy and business, benefiting financial performance and management practices.
Being at the forefront of this emerging field is crucial to the future of business. At the same time, the industry requires employees to understand how to account for sustainability and regeneration and to understand these issues from a business perspective and the new demands of consumers.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainability and Regeneration illustrates how businesses can thrive and grow whilst solving some of the world's biggest challenges and how we, as individuals, can make a difference.
This proposal also aims to promote the thematic diversification of the Catholic University's training offerings. Porto Business School and the Higher School of Biotechnology, and is launched within the scope of INSURE.hub, an initiative promoted by the Catholic University of Portugal, in Porto, through those Schools, with Planetiers New Generation.
