Micro, small, medium or large companies ... are the different types to characterize the size of each organization.
Although the concept involves other variables, the definition of the type of company depends on the number of employees.
SMEs are considered to be micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, all those that employ less than 250 workers. On the other hand, large companies are those that have equal or greater value than that mentioned above.
But what are the advantages of working in each of them?
Here are a few.
Working in an SME
- Proximity ratio: In an organization with a smaller number of employees, the approximation between the team is naturally facilitated.
- Recognition: In a smaller team, the recognition of work by colleagues is more common.
- Career: The size of the company allows in many cases the mobility between different projects with greater ease.
Working in a large company

- Greater possibility of career advancement: The diversity of jobs is greater and consequently also the possibility to progress internally.
- Valuation in the curriculum: Large companies tend to be better known to the public, which can be an asset in the professional curriculum.
