Vodafone promotes Worklife Balance with Telework

“A Vodafone is a global telecommunications company. At the moment it already has a presence in 23 countries, we have 1.400 employees (in Portugal).

We are currently in a process of digital transformation, moving from a Telco Company to a Tech Comms Company. Greatly impacted by 5G, our IoT (Internet of Things) and also artificial intelligence.

What we are looking for Vodafone?

Firstly, we are looking for young people, especially dynamic young people, who are eager to learn and who also want to get to know new products and services that are now also very impacted by this transition from Telco to a Tech Comms Company. We have, through our areas, our Intership and graduate programs, through our technology areas, Commercial marketing, Digital, Data Analytics and also the area of Corporate Functions. Basically, we are also looking not only for Technical Skills, but also for Soft Skills, such as customer orientation, vision of the future and also having the ability to create, innovate and think new things.

What do we offer?

We at this moment in Vodafone, we have the flexibility to work in a hybrid model, with 2 days in the office and 3 at home, which allows us to have more contact with our family, and also have a Worklife Balance. Our teams mostly work in Agile, in an Agile way, in order to be more collaborative, to have more contact with each other, also for our team members to encourage a lot of teamwork.

In addition, we are a startup incubator, that is, we encourage entrepreneurship and creativity here with the Vodafone Power Lab. We have an international community, we have a lot of daily international contact and with our teams in other parts of the world.
